9This course will teach the student tried and true methods proven to be effective by our tier one operators while serving downrange. some of the topics covered will include: rifle selection, basic equipment for AR platform to help achieve maximum efficiency from weapon system, SAFETY, cleaning/maintenance; proper mounting of platform to body, shooting from prone and standing, stance, loading/unloading, malfunctions, and more…..
****ALL TRAINING WILL BE CONDUCTED ON THE RANGE, NO CLASSROOM TIME****
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT: AR PLATFORM RIFLE, OPTICS, MECHANICAL SIGHTS, SLING, MINIMUM OF 5 MAGAZINES, 300-400 ROUNDS OF AMMO, EYE PROTECTION, HEARING PROTECTION (ELECTRONIC PREFERRED), ELBOW/KNEE PADS, BAG TO BE USED TO SUPPORT WEAPON WHILE SHOOTING FROM PRONE POSITION, APPROPIATE RANGE CLOTHING, GLOVES, ABILITY TO HYDRATE AND LUNCH. THERE WILL BE NO LUNCH BREAK SO BRING YOUR OWN LUNCH!!!! WE WILL GRAZE AS WE GO.
